Conversational English Course Description
Students have to take the Initial Assessment and Placement Test before course enrollment.

This course focuses on listening and speaking skills, emphasizing the acquisition of a practical vocabulary and active use of the English language. Students learn to improve note-taking skills and practice conversational strategies important to succeeding in an English-speaking environment. You will develop fluency in informal conversation by working on skills such as expressing an opinion, agreeing and disagreeing appropriately, story telling, and maintaining conversational rhythm. Students listen to segments from television, radio, and movies while engaging in classroom discussion, group projects and informal presentations.
