A trained bilingual native speaker will conduct a quick administrative assessment of your English proficiency to effectively determine which course and level would best meet your learning needs followed by a more professional initial assessment of your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills administered by an experienced multilingual on-line educator. After determining your English proficiency and personal study preferences, a custom study plan will be created to reach your desired English proficiency level in a timely manner.

This course focuses on developing students' skills in understanding and using conversational English in the vast majority of daily life situations. You will practice language for real-world tasks such as telephoning, banking, negotiating public transportation in addition to making apologies and requests. Special attention is given to language use variations according to level of formality, situation, and number of participants. In class, students do a variety of pair, small group and whole class activities to improve spoken fluency and accuracy while participating in planned and unplanned conversations in class in addition to performing real-world tasks outside of class. Assignments include role-plays of daily life situations and group projects designated by the teacher.
